*I won the overall 2012 Winter Series title but couldn't hang with McCollam(31:40) in today's race. I'm barely hanging onto a 4 to 3 lead in head to head races between us, friendly rival with one of my really good friends. I ran slightly faster last year(32:09), which was a solo effort.


Recap: First week of dropping the mileage a bit. Only dropped 20% this week which right now I'm not feeling any fresher from, next week is a nice 35% drop and then the last 6 days before Myrtle Beach Marathon will be roughly 60-65% drop. I would have liked to pushed McCollam over the last 2miles of the 10K like we had talked about but instead he finished strong and I sort of struggled in. But solid effort to be at the end of marathon training. Time to get fresh and pumped for the goal race 2 weeks away!
