KC Loop so I could practice taking water/gel

Recap: I was dragging and not too excited to run most of this week. I attempted a long workout on Thursday and was far from recovered from the half marathon to go out there and try a long one. Thankfully Sunday was one of my smoothest steady 20milers ever, I ended the last 4mile loop not too far from MP so I can't call it a easy LR although it felt easy throughout. 4 weeks to go until the time of truth, time to run closer to my ability this go around with the Marathon.

(Marian also finished 2nd so we combined walked away with $3oo)

Recap: Good week, would have liked for a faster course(mainly due to the last 5K only) but more importantly would have liked to had better legs. Probably the worse I have felt during a race or hard workout this entire build. Probably due to travel and a couple late nights for me before hand. Effort was good and I really dug down to grind away to even hit this time so that counts for something. Fun week of travel as well, 5 days-4 different motel/hotels, 2 races(Marian also ran a track 5K Friday night), 2 different beaches(Outer Banks and Va Beach) and lots of driving.

Recap: Good week, I was a bit tired this week but hit my 2 key workouts in the goal range. The TLT workout on Sunday was my 3rd one of the build (the other two being 2x4miles and 3x2miles inside of 20mile runs) but this was the first one where I included the longer steady running before the tempo, it was much harder but what I need to reach my marathon goals.
